At Civial Affairs office at 10 am. The babies had been travelling for four hours and was already there when we arrived.
Fan-Fan cried for a few minutes but was never hysterical, and then got her very intersting (and noisy) toy. And big sister Olivia was a big help. We had also sent a few pictures to the orphanage of ourselves, whitch they had showed her. So she must have recognized us. But of course it's scary for the babies and they were all terrified. They were also very hot with four layers of clothes under the huge padded jacket and trousers. Vera-Mei had made a poo and it wasn't a new one. We had to change nappy and trousers on the floor.
After a bath at the hotel she started to show her personality. A little quiet but confident. She can walk but is is week and can't strech her back when she sits or stands.

Olivia is a bit jellous but very proud and caring. I'm so glad granny is here with us. She and Olivia have just been to the swimming pool and now, when Vera-Mei is sleeping, they are playing in grannys room. It helps a lot.

The orphanage staff with all our gifts: seven walkers, one air conditioner, two big bags of clothes and one with toys.
They hadn't used the camera I sent them, nor had they given Vera-Mei the stickers and the cuddly toy. I guess we have to be thankful they showed her the pictures. They refused to answer any questions about the orphanage, they wouldn't even tell us the name of Vera-Mei's favourite nanny. But they were grateful for the gifts and have promised to take pictures of the air conditioner and send to us. Up until now there hasn't been any heating in the babies bedroom, according to the manager. An winter in Hunan can be cold ad humid at the same time, so this was very welcome.

Lunchen pa restaurang gick ocksa bra, liksom badet.
